Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Sameroom, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the platform.
What Sameroom is
Sameroom is a platform that uses AI to semantically cluster independently submitted ideas and connect people who independently arrived at similar ideas, problems, or concepts.
User accounts
- Users must provide a valid email address to create an account.
- Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their account credentials.
- One account per person. Do not create multiple accounts.
Idea submissions
- Users retain full ownership of any ideas they submit to Sameroom.
- By submitting an idea, you grant Sameroom a limited licence to use the idea text solely for the purpose of generating embeddings and performing matching.
- We do not claim ownership of your ideas.
- We do not share your exact idea text publicly or with other users without your involvement in a matched cluster.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Submit false or misleading ideas to game the matching system.
- Scrape or automate submissions to the platform.
- Harass other users through the contact unlock system.
- Use the platform for spam or unsolicited commercial messages.
- Submit ideas containing illegal content.
Payments
- Cluster unlocks are one-time payments of $7 USD processed by Stripe.
- All sales are final.
- Refunds are available within 48 hours of purchase if no contact details have been viewed. Refund requests must be sent to hello@sameroom.ai.
Pro subscription
If applicable, subscriptions are billed monthly and can be cancelled at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Intellectual property
- Sameroom owns all platform code, design, and infrastructure.
- Users own their ideas.
- Neither party acquires rights to the other's intellectual property through use of the platform.
Disclaimer
Sameroom does not guarantee that matching will result in successful cofounder relationships, business partnerships, or any other outcome. We provide a connection platform only. Any relationships or agreements formed through Sameroom are solely between the parties involved.
Limitation of liability
Sameroom is not liable for any outcomes resulting from connections made through the platform, including but not limited to business decisions, cofounder relationships, or shared ideas.
Termination
- We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.
- Users can delete their account at any time by contacting hello@sameroom.ai.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by email.
